some anatomy books have stills of expressions usualy near the back. Plus you get to learn anatomy on the side lol
y'know, that has to be one creepy combination: someone's skin peeled-off with a smile behind it.

thanks for the recommend., i'll check-it-out! :D
get the facial expressions book by mark simon
they sell it at the bookstore, and utrecht probably has it too. it's the one with like 6 dozen faces on the front.

oh yeah, i kinda forgot that book, i know have a copy buried somewhere, just gotta dig it out. ^^; btw, i found out mark simon is releasing another facial expression book: Facial Expressions Babies to Teens: A Visual Reference for Artists. Its on pre-order atm, but it'll be interesting to see it on the shelves soon.

right now i'm looking for expressions that are more natural and not forced (like pictures shot by a poloriod when an event is going on). for some reason there's a difference between forced and natural body gesture. the forced stuff is stiff and has poster/comic book fake quality. natural is something you find in an overloaded photobook, natural geographic journal, or in a really good painting. the natural gesture is like an inbetween from relax to exaggerate with the body still in motion. i guess i'm a bit vague.

thanks for the recommend! send me more comments if ya can think of more. :D
well, I can't help too much their, except for probably just start looking up people's family related blogs. I mean seriously, so many photographs that just never needed to be taken, but I tell ya they're probably all candid photos, cuz usually it's some aunt that doesn't quite know how or when to use a camera, and just loves to show off her family.
so that's my suggestion
look up some blogs

and thanks for the reply~!
oh yeah, incase you're interested, atlus has released a directors cut of persona 3, called Persona 3 FES. I found a copy selling on amazon for 30 bucks (better than 70!). It says on the back cover, there's 70 hrs of gameplay, plus 30 hrs extra that isn't in the original. i remember we had a conversation about this series; so i thought i should give ya a heads-up, incase ya didnt know yet. ^__^
yeah, the big question though, is how much do you need to know about the games prior? cuz i have not played any of the series

well ... i just started playing, and so far there hasn't been any reference to the other games. it really treats ya like a n00b, and gives ya time to develop and get accustomed to the gameplay. it seems pretty easy and straight forward incomparison to hardcore rpgs.
